Blasting chamber
Blasting cabins are equipped with whole-surface automatic collection of the
abrasive, a cascade or rotation abrasive sorter, a storage bin, a pressure boiler with the capacity of 200 L and an ecological suction and filtration unit. They are designed for ecological manual
blasting of common structural materials, sections, metal sheets as well as shape-intricate products. They are designed according to the customer’s requirements on the basis of a modular system. The operator is closed in the working area and equipped with protective clothing during
blasting.
Blasting cabin versions
The
blasting cabin is supplied as passable or impassable. The front wall is fitted with an entrance gate with an inspection hole. The entrance for the
blasting cabin operator is located on the side wall and it also serves as an emergency exit. The cabin is equipped with a manually-controlled rail car for handling the blasted parts; the rails in the floor lead outside the
blasting cabin gate for loading and unloading.
The casing of the working area is made from shell insulation panels with the thickness of 130 mm, attached to a frame structure made from hollow light-gauge sections. The walls are protected from mechanical damage caused by the abrasive by freely suspended rubber bands. The ceiling, gate and the operator’s passageway are fitted with rubber pads. The cabin floor is covered with grates that let the abrasive and blasted impurities fall into the laminated system. At the same time, the grates also ensure a safe movement of the operator without the risk of slipping. The operator executes
blasting manually and moves inside the blasting area. The operator wears protective clothing including gloves, protective overall and a helmet with air supply (including a filter and heater). All the protective aids and accessories comply with the technical and safety requirements valid in the EU.
